MărÅ£iÅŸor is the traditional celebration of the beginning of the spring in Romania and Moldova, on 1 March. Everybody is buying somethig for the loved ones, and, as you can see – the streets are crowded these days!

I think they really capture the heartbeat or the streets’ hustle and bustle on this day.
In fact this is what Martzishor means at the selling / buying level: swarming streets, people rushing into each other, loads of little bright things (martzishoare) … lots of sounds & colours.

RED= love, worm, sun
WHITE=pure, snow(melting) :), untouched… in conclusion PURE LOVE 😀
